  1. For your convenience, I'm including patched versions of a couple of PC 
  2. Magazine utilties which can be used as a "tree-level" shell which calls 
  3. DF.  The modifications are minor and full copyright to these programs
  4. remains with Michael Mefford and Ziff-Davis.  These programs are being 
  5. distributed only for the convenience of users and should not in any way be 
  6. construed to be a part of the Directory Freedom shareware package.

  8. Patching instructions for the original versions of these programs are
  9. given in the DF documentation, but these versions contain more
  10. extensive modifications (e.g. both will call DF by pressing <Enter>)
  11. than could be made without modifying and re-assembling the source code.
